Max Masuluke recorded this traditional Shangaan EP at 8th Avenue Studios in Johannesburg in 1989.  Popular singer Lazarus Kgagudi produced the EP.  Originally recorded and engineered by 8th Avenue’s Craig Beyrooti, the EP was remastered in 2025 by Craig and his son Jayden.  Members of Step Ahead, the go-to session musicians for 8th Avenue, feature on keyboards and bass.
