South African reggae band Joe Gad & The Earth People recorded their only album in Johannesburg 1990.  Led by the vocals and compositions of Joe Gad, the group created a unique reggae vibe in the 8 songs on their record, Rise Up Afrika.  Produced by Craig Beyrooti and Martin Mitchell, the album features the great musicianship of The Earth People and tight arrangements.
